What is Tretin Gel?

This gel is especially used in acne treatment. Vitamin A is the concentrated form of vitamins and skin form. The upper layer of the skin peels off the epidermis. In addition, it accelerates the healing by stimulating the center that allows the collagen synthesis and self-repair of the skin.

The active ingredient of this cream is retinoic acid, a substance called tretinoin. Excipients are sopropyl myristate, carbopol 974P, polysorbate 80, glycerol, triglycerides (Medium Chain), light liquid petrolatum, butylhydroxytoluene, butylhydroxyanisole, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium hydroxide and pure water.

How to Use Tretin Gel?

Use this gel exactly as your doctor has prescribed for you. Using this gel in larger amounts than prescribed or applying it more often than prescribed will not make it work any faster and may increase side effects. Never use this cream for longer than recommended by your doctor.

Gently wash your face with a mild soap, pat the skin dry, and wait 20 to 30 minutes before applying the cream. Apply a pea-sized amount of cream to rub all over your face. You may feel warmth or slight stinging when you apply this gel for the first time.

Do not take this medicine by mouth. This cream is for skin use only. Do not use this medication on open wounds or sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped or irritated skin.
